About Me

I am a licensed acupuncturist and Maya Abdominal Therapist specializing in the treatment of women's health issues, trauma, and sport's injuries. I focus my practice on fertility, pregnancy preparation, miscarriage, postpartum recovery, pelvic floor issues, urinary frequency and urgency, and pain. My passion is the study of pelvic floor issues and creating a more fertile body by making lifestyle changes and better nutrition choices (which changes our gene expression). I think women should be happier and at peace with what the Lord gave'em. After 5 miscarriages, I recently gave birth to a happy, healthy, beautiful baby girl. I am also a writer, fiddle player, and sometime surfer. My husband is a good cook and an awesome dad. I am originally from Asheville, NC where I was raised on unintentionally organic vegetables, free mountain chickens, and deviled ham sandwiches.
