About Me

I am a certified sexuality counselor with the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists and a certified nurse-midwife. I have practiced in the field of women's health and sexual health for over 20 years. My focus is on providing women of all ages with the information they need and to facilitate and enhance pleasurable living and sexual satisfaction. My new book: Women, Sex, Power & Pleasure: Getting the Life (and sex) You Want will be available in stores March 1, 2013. This book takes a whole-life, Integrative approach to keeping your sexual desire alive and well at any age. My first book: The Secret Lives of Teen Girls; What Your Mother Wouldn't Talk About but Your Daughter Needs to Know (Hay House, 2009) takes a sex-positive view of teen girls sexuality with an eye on the helping them develop into sexually satisfied adult women. I live in western Massachusetts with my partner of almost 20 years. We have 4 adult kids between us and 3 granddaughters.
