About Me

I'm a media spokesperson for the American Academy of Dermatology and have written numerous articles for scientific journals. I've made numerous television appearances including CBS, CNN, 20/20, Dateline NBC, Fox News, MTV and the Discovery Channel. I've been featured in Time Magazine and been quoted extensively in such publications as The New York Times, The Post, Daily News, Vogue, Allure, Elle, Harpers Bazaar and many more. I recently authored a chapter in the book Women's Health for Life, Winner of the British Medical Association Book Award (2009). I feel I've always been on the cutting edge of dermatological advances and view cosmetic dermatology as both an art and a science. I was one of the first physicians in the U.S. using Botox in 1991 and currently work as an instructor with Allergan teaching physicians proper Botox injection techniques.
