In her last year of high school Brie looked around the cafeteria table and her campaign was born. She founded Love the Skin You're In to light the way out of confused body image, food obsessions and eating disorders by igniting young women's appetite for life.
Since graduating from McGill University with distinction, Brie has addressed thousands of young women, speaking at over 50 schools across North America with her multimedia, myth-busting outreach seminar for sustainability and self-esteem. She has then worked extensively behind the scenes one-on-one to support hundreds of young women online and in private retreat who are finding the courage to chart a new relationship with their bodies. Her work has been featured in Coastal Living Magazine and Focus as well as VI-Land, CKVR, and CTV News.
Brie is the author of Freedom to Blossom, co-author of Speaking My Truth and is currently writing her third book. She is the official 2012 speaker for the Cielo House sponsored San Jose NEDA Walk. A former Canadian Olympic Team candidate, dedicated student of Zen and yoga, activist writer, and hip-hop artist, Brie divides her time between Montreal and the San Francisco Bay Area.
